Liverpool Mark Social Night.

Hope Street in Liverpool is bookended by two Cathedrals and along its length it has two theatres and is home to Liverpool Masonic Hall which on Saturday 28th January was host to two West Lancashire Provincial Grand Masters.
Mike Winterbottom welcoming the PGM's
The occasion was the inaugural social evening of the Liverpool Mark Association. The association was the brain child of the PGM’s Special Representative for Liverpool Mark Lodges WBro Mike Winterbottom.
Mike thanks everyone for coming
Mike assisted by WBro Les Moore had planned an evening that was value for money with first rate entertainment. On arrival the guests were treated to a drink and then an excellent four course meal.
Just some of raffle prizes
After the meal and a short break and the guests were entertained in fine fashion by Miss Julie A Scott.  Julie is an exceptional artist with experience in performing at Masonic functions; this was demonstrated by the way Julie introduced the two PGM’s; Keith Beardmore (Mark) and Tony Harrison (Craft) both with humour and respect.

Julie’s wide range of material included a full range of song styles, even a touch of opera and dedications to certain artists. All this was done with humour and a sense of fun; (much like the Mark Degree).
Enjoying the entertainment
I have heard that song before
Julie A Scott
I must remember that joke

Keeping the room interested
A touch of opera
Being a Masonic organized event there was of course a raffle and a cheque for charity presented to the PGM Keith Beardmore by Mike Winterbottom.  Liverpool Masonic Hall had done a wonderful meal for the occasion and all in all everyone appeared to have had a good night and many talking about one for next year.  Many thanks go to Mike Winterbottom and Les Moore for the organization of the evening and to all those who attended to make the event the success it surly was.
up and at them
